Sunrise Hike

After an overnight stay at the Höllensteinhütte and a 1.5 hour Hike, experience a heavenly Sunrise on the Tettensjoch and then enjoy a hearty mountain Breakfast at the Hut.

Hiking Paradise in Summer

The Höllensteinhütte is located on Loschboden, the paradisiacal Plateau above the Tux Valley at 1740 m above Sea Level and is thus the perfect starting point for numerous Hikes - such as Elsalm, Grieralm, Gamshütte, Tettensjoch, Flachspitze, Lange Wand, Nestspitz or our local Mountain the Höllenstein.

Hike & Bike

With the help of a Mountain Bike or e-Bike from the Höllensteinhütte about 4 km to the "Hochleger" - here is a signposted and fenced parking for your bike. From here it is about 45 minutes to the summit Victory on Tettensjoch.

Ski touring Toutes

Around the Höllensteinhütte from Winter 2020/2021 even more attractive!

As part of a project for ski tour guiding, the existing ski tours around the Loschbodenalm and the Höllensteinhütte will be upgraded from winter 2020/2021.

From Juns - here there is now an official parking facility next to the Heli-Port - the ski touring path to Höllensteinhütte is significantly widened and thus more attractive.

And also from the hut, the route guidance in the direction of "Kreuzjoch" or "Am Flach" is noticeably improved in some areas.
